An end-to-end quotation management platform for mechanical services contractors. The one to two days of manual work between a client's Excel bill of quantities and the report you send back drops to 20 minutes.
Out of a need from site, to be used on site.
Preparing a quotation in mechanical services — parsing the bill of quantities, emailing the right suppliers, comparing the prices that come back and presenting them to the client — means one to two days of manual Excel work on a typical project. Writing to 10 or 15 suppliers one at a time, turning 10 or 15 differently formatted replies into a single table, missing one line item and starting again: that is the most punishing part of the process.
The goal was clear: take the manual work in the chain from the client's Excel to the client's report down from hours to minutes. It runs on Cloudflare Workers and Next.js, with no infrastructure cost.
From an Excel bill of quantities to a client report in six steps
The client's Excel is uploaded. Multiple sheets, brand columns and item numbering are recognised automatically.
Products are assigned to suppliers automatically by brand, with parallel assignment proposals where an item covers several brands.
For each supplier, an email file you can send from Outlook is generated, with the product list, an Excel attachment and an optional specification document.
Upload the priced Excel files the suppliers return. The system parses them automatically and matches them line by line.
A side-by-side price matrix with the lowest quotes marked, and a one-click "select the best" button.
A clean Excel is produced from the selections, ready to send straight to the client.
Six features that accelerate the quotation process
Multiple sheets, brand columns and item numbering are recognised automatically, matching standard bill of quantities formats — no manual editing.
Brands are assigned to suppliers automatically, with parallel assignment proposals for multi-brand line items.
An .eml or .msg file for each supplier that opens in Outlook, including the product list, the Excel attachment and an optional specification.
Every incoming price is presented line by line in one table, with the lowest highlighted in green and the highest in red.
The system picks the lowest price for each line item and proposes an optimal mixed award — a smart per-item selection rather than one supplier for everything.
Every quotation file is stored, so you can use past project prices as a reference and track supplier performance.

Mechanical services contractors, procurement managers and site managers. Anyone who needs to distribute an Excel bill of quantities to several suppliers, compare the prices and present a clean report to the client can use it.
Yes, and we measured it in practice. The traditional flow: review the Excel, match brands, write 10 to 15 separate emails, wait for replies, parse each one separately, compare the prices, produce a clean report — one to two working days in total. With Quote App: upload the BoQ, the system matches brands, email files are generated automatically, upload the replies, review the comparison matrix, produce the report — 20 to 30 minutes of active work, excluding supplier response times.
No, the system does not send email. It generates an email file (.eml or .msg) that opens in Outlook for each supplier — you open it and press send. That way the sending account is your own Outlook, and the sent history stays in your own mailbox.
Standard .xlsx and .xls files. It recognises multiple sheets, brand columns and item numbering automatically, and is optimised for common bill of quantities layouts (item number, description, brand, quantity, unit).
All data is stored encrypted on Cloudflare infrastructure. Your supplier lists, price information and client Excel files are visible only to your own account and are not shared with third parties.
Cloudflare Workers and Next.js. It runs with no infrastructure cost, backed by a CDN at 300+ points worldwide, giving millisecond response times.
